A full-arm semi-permanent sleeve in real jagua ink. Develops to deep blue-black over 48 hours, lasts up to 2 weeks, fades naturally. The studio-sleeve look with zero commitment.
The stain looks light brown at first — that’s normal. Over the next 24–48 hours it darkens into a deep blue-black. Once fully developed it lasts up to 2 weeks, gradually fading as your skin naturally exfoliates.
How to apply
- Clean and dry the skin where you’ll apply the design.
- Cut out your chosen design and peel off the clear protective film.
- Place the design face-down on your skin, in the position you want.
- Press a wet cloth firmly over it for 30–60 seconds so the transfer sets.
- Peel away the paper backing gently, starting from one corner.
- Let it air-dry for about 1 hour without rubbing or touching it.

How long does a jagua tattoo last?
The stain starts light brown and darkens into a deep blue-black over 24–48 hours. Once fully developed it lasts up to 2 weeks, gradually fading as your skin naturally exfoliates.
Is it safe? Do I need a patch test?
Yes — it’s made from jagua, an extract of the Genipa americana fruit used for body art in the Amazon for centuries, with no PPD (the chemical behind “black henna” reactions). Patch test a small piece on your inner forearm and wait 24 hours before your first full application. Avoid use on broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, and check with a doctor first if you’re under 12, pregnant or breastfeeding.
Will it survive showers and the gym?
Yes. Once fully developed, the stain is waterproof through showers, gym sessions and swims for the full ~2 weeks it lasts.
How do I apply it?
Clean and dry the skin, cut out your design and peel off the clear film, place it face-down where you want it, press a wet cloth over it for 30–60 seconds, then peel away the paper backing and let it air-dry for about an hour without touching it.
How is this different from henna?
Jagua develops into a deep blue-black stain rather than henna’s reddish-brown, and it’s PPD-free — unlike many “black henna” tattoos, which use PPD and can cause serious skin reactions.
